My best friend recommended to me to buy this heater for use when I'm out back giving my Beagles a cleaning after they come in from a hunt. I have a 10 foot by 10 foot shack with water and a hose and after washing them off the heater makes it easier to keep them warm while I dry them off. It also keeps me warm and makes this dirty job as nice as it can be. The dogs also like it because they stand in front of the heater while waiting to get dried. The fan helps move the heat around and I'm sweating by the time I get to the last dog so I turn it down to the medium setting. My dogs and I love this little heater.Customer Review: Not good for 350sq. ft of uninstulated space

I bought this heater holding out much hope that it would heat up my 350sq. ft. uninsulated attached garage but unfortunately it just can't do the duty so I've relegated it to small space heater use. The specifications say 400sq ft. capability BUT that will need to be an insulated enclosure and even then that will be pushing its limits. None-the-less, following the directions it is extremely easy to use and light. I live above 5000 feet and have absolutely no problems with it. I use the long hose with a 20# propane tank. For tents, RV's, small insulated rooms and ice shacks this should work very well.Customer Review: Excellent!!!!

This is the 2nd Mr. Heater Big Buddy we have bought. We loved our first one so much we wanted to get another. My wife stays a little warmer than I do so I fire up my Big Buddy when I am cold. It is able to heat the whole room. I rarely turn it above low. These heaters are the very best thing to have for everyday use and especially when the power goes out!! I bought a hose so I can use it with my 20lb. tank in case I need to burn it for a long time if the power stays off for a while. Here, we lost power for 4 days at one time. These are a life saver. Don't take my word for it,,,,, try one for yourself.Customer Review: Works fine for me

I question the ethics of an individual who makes a claim that an item they purchased is a lemon..only to mention a few brief words that they are in full conscience going to sell the lemon to some other poor unsuspecting sucker. Making critical comments about a manufacturer selling lemons and then turning around and doing the same demonstrates the fact that perhaps not everyone opinion on somthing should be trusted.
I have this product it has been running on High with ONE cylinder in it for 2 hours now and has warmed an uninsulated 22x22 garage nicely on this windy 35F degree day.

I bought this with the quick connect hose to use with a 20Gallon tank, and used batteries for the fan. I also bought the filter adapter which cannot be used with the quick connect hose, then i missed the return window (my fault). Anyways for the money I think if I had tried it sooner I probably would have returned it. The fans have an annoying high pitched hummmmm, and the heat output is just ok, not great. My garage is insulated, not heated, and running this for about 30 minutes on high just barely took the foggy breadth out of the air, much like my electric already was able to do.
