Customer Review: Great Heater....But

I bought two of these in the past two years. They are really good little units. I guess my only complaint is that they tend to be noisier than I would like. I have tried rubber isolators on the fan motor, rubber isolators on the four hangers, flexible gas line, flexible power cord, all to no avail. For the life of me, I cannot determine the source of the noise/vibration. It almost seems like there are harmonics between the main fan and the draft inducing fan. I used to keep a 20 pound box of welding rod on top of one of them but eventually needed the rod! I think the last resort will be to mount the main fan motor independent of the heater. Other than that, I am very happy with my purchase. I actually found the last one on sale for $377 with no tax/no shipping. I did get one unit that was water damaged but Amazon took care of everything at no cost to me. Amazon has always been my preferred vendor!
Description of Mr. Heater Big Maxx 45,000 BTU Propane Garage Unit Heater #MHU45LP
The MHU45LP is a propane fired, forced air convection heater. This unit is ideal when ceiling heights do not allow for infrared heaters to be used. It easily installs from the ceiling with included angle brackets. Unit has power exhaust which allows for both vertical or horizontal venting. Unit is thermostatically controlled and includes a spark ignition system with self diagnostic control module. This CSA certified heater will heat up to 700 square feet and comes with a three year limited warranty on the parts and the burner and a ten year warranty on the heat exchanger.Space Heaters
