I read all of the reviews on on Amazon just to get an idea of what to expect. Since most comments were positive, I decided to purchase this particular heater. Had it about a week now and as far as I'm concerned, it's done the job I wanted it to. Yes it does use more propane than I might like but it does the job. I just had a 15x20 addition to my garage added but only the outside finished. The shell is quite open at this point but the heater does make the area tolerable especially with all of the cold we've been having. Would do it again without hesitation.Customer Review: Great heater

We bought this heater last minute due to a boy scout meeting we were having in the garage for a specific badge. Since its a new garage and still unheated and not insulated it was pretty cold here in New England. We turned the heater on (after having to run to the hardware store to get an adaptor since our propane tank was an older model) and within 10 minutes you could really feel the difference. This is a great heater and I strongly recommend it. Our garage is approx 18x24 with 10'ceilings. Not bad at all. We were pleasantly surprised.Customer Review: good heater

We live in North Dakota and the winters can and do get cold. I was looking for something to take the chill out of my garage, and after reading the previous reviews, this heater sounded good. I tried it and would recommened it to anyone who was looking for a reasonable priced heater. I started the heater when the garage temperature was 31 degrees (F) and within a half hour the temperature was pushing 70 degrees. My garage is about 24' by 30'. Works great and after years of searching I have found a heater that does the job.Customer Review: This thing really heats

I'm using this for short periods of 1/2 to 1 hour a few times per day in a house that's being remodeled and is hard to keep warm in the winter. Since it's unvented, I don't run it for very long at a time and I never leave it alone while its heating. In the small house, it's amazing how fast it can heat up the house. My only reservation is, it really uses up the propane, but I guess that's to be expected. I open a couple of windows once a day and turn on an exhaust fan to be sure the air stays fresh.Customer Review: MH80CV review

Unit was shipped very fast by Amazon. Does put out an amazing amount of heat.I bought this as a backup for my two kerosene heaters and my fan forced propane,which doesn't work too well if the power goes out.The only problem I had was inserting the three screws that hold the top up.Holes were too small.Other than that it is a great heater.Great care should be taken when operating this heater,as the exterior is very hot.Should never be left unattended as flames can and do shoot out the openings.A+
